An english story...

                                    An initiative of change
In a small town in the Amazon, Marco lived with his father, a dedicated peasant.
Marco was a very curious boy who liked to investigate. Each day he enjoyed being in the forest with the animals; contemplating nature.  He also liked to learn; he was a little boy and had a hard time learning, but in spite of not counting so good, he read the few books lent from the library of his dangerous high school.

At school, Marco was a respected child; all his teachers and partners recognized his great potential. According to a commission completed by Marco’s school, he was chosen to study at a better place, the capital. In that way, when Marco was 11 years old, he went to study at a private school in Lima, accompanied by his father. Marco was contented with such arrival, but also he missed his community.

Once in Lima, the boy got surprised by the city, by the enormous modern constructions, however in spite of that, the little boy realized that Lima was not what he was expecting, there was great vehicular traffic, pollution everywhere, and when he looked at up, he realized that the sky wasn’t blue, but dark, so, he asked his father that what was happening, and his father said, all is product of companies, factories, transportations, that is, pollution.

Marco was dissatisfied with that impression about the capital; however this was not a reason to give up and instead of going back to his community, it was a new reason to continue studying, because he’d achieve the change of the reality in the society.

Marco didn’t turn down that opportunity to continue with his studies, little by little was also recognized at his new high school, by his great desire to conserve our resources, his clear ideas and his capacity for leadership.

Being in the third grade, Marco found out about a school project that promoted the care of the vegetation and the beaches of Lima. Then, he became a member of this project, so every day in the morning he used to go to the beaches to collect trash from the sea, and the weekends, he distributed fliers to the neighbors in the district where he lived.

Soon, Marco decided to study Environmental Engineering, so that he would be able to combat completely with the pollution of our city.

Years later, Marco began to create new technology, and he became an outstanding youth in the fight against contamination, finally he could achieve great change.
